Program Description: A full day seminar addressing advanced and current issues in local government pension management.

  • Review state-wide pension funds fiscal condition and impact on local governments
  • Learn about the Pension Fairness Coalition’s objectives to stem the rising cost of local government pensions
  • Discuss pension fund investment approaches appropriate for the current economy
  • Learn about the State of Illinois Division of Insurance new requirements for pension funds
  • Explore the appropriate use of early retirement incentives
