Who should attendLocal government finance directors and professional staff, pension trustees as well as others interested in sound government finance management practices.

  

Description:  State-wide seminar to examine the how the economy and reporting standards impact local government investment policies and practices for both corporate and pension funds.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about modifications to local government corporate and pension fund investment policies
  • Discuss how investment practices have changed during the recession
  • Gather information about how to report investment credit risks in financial reports

Cancellations after November 23, 2010 and no-shows are responsible for the full tuition. Substitutions may be made with advanced notice. IGFOA reserves the right to modify the agenda and/or speakers, cancel the training due to low enrollment, or to close registration if full.
