Description:  Plan on attending the 2010 Annual Payroll Seminar to listen to the IRS and Sikich LLP discuss the latest payment and reporting issues in payroll.   This year’s list of topics includes; 1099 reporting requirements, Health Care Reform impact on payroll reporting, COBRA credits, Allowances for meals/uniforms, common payroll errors found in IRS Audits, cell phone policies, and other 2010 reporting changes and fringe benefits.   

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Review IRS 1099 reporting requirements and learn how to avoid common reporting issues before filing the 2010 year end reports
  • Become knowledgeable on the changes for year-end reporting including the Health Care Reform Act impact on payroll, fringe benefits,  tax consequences of employer cell phones,  and more

Description:  Discuss the latest issues in utility billing including high water bill committees, shut off fees, fixed billing fees, late notices, policies for reduced bills, medical hardships and more!  Analyze and review all the forms utilized in utility billing (bills, notices, letters, etc.) from other entities.  Learn how to deal with foreclosures and the effect on utility billing accounts.  Discuss the latest in electronic billing and methods of collection.
