Illinois Financial Forecast Forum: Private Sector Views that will Impact the Public Sector

The Northern Illinois University Center for Governmental Studies Civic Leadership Academy and Illinois City/County Management Association invite you to attend the seventh annual Illinois Financial Forecast Forum: Private Sector Views that will Impact the Public Sector on January 15, 2016 to discuss pertinent economic and financial issues affecting local governments in Illinois. Join us to explore economic conditions and the pressures each exerts on local government fiscal health and gather information to incorporate in your strategic planning, financial forecasts, budget development, and economic development plans.  

The day includes Rick Mattoon, Senior Economist, Chicago Federal Reserve, Stephen B. Friedman, SB Friedman, Ferhat Zerin, Gingo Planning and Design, Ellen Baer and Annmarie Mampe, Village of Orland Park presenting a multi-faceted session new development concepts for the next real estate cycle,  C. Kelley Cofer,  retail specialist, concurrent sessions where you can chose between an manufacturing/industry forecast presented by Jason Horwitz, Anderson Consulting Group and Brian Tader, Lee & Associations or a hot topics session presented by Kelly Kost, Chapman and Cutler and Stephan Roberts, Robert W. Baird.  The day will conclude with an employment outlook presented by Rick Cobb, Challenger Gray & Christmas.

Cost before Jan. 1:   $99 for first attendee, $79 for 2nd attendee from same organization, $35 for students 

Cost after Jan. 1:      $139 for first attendee, $119 for 2nd attendee from same organization, $45 for students
