Role: Full-time, W2, 100% onsite

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maximizes return on financial assets and guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems.
  • Manages all accounting operations by establishing, monitoring and enforcing accounting policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems.
  • Maintains accounting records by verifying, allocating and posting transactions, including general ledger, payroll and taxes.
  • Maximizes cash flow by managing accounts payable and accounts receivable (including collections), interacting directly with customers and vendors.
  • Administers and provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Implements employee benefits programs by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends, recommending benefit programs to management and directing the processing of benefit claims.
  • Maintains office services by managing and organizing office operations and procedures, reviewing and approving supply requisitions and controlling records.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum 5 years experience in accounting or corporate finance
  • Excellent knowledge of financial reporting requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping best practices
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Experience:

  • Accounting or corporate finance experience in a SaaS and/or Professional Services industry
  • Experience interacting with local governments
  • CPA certification
