Real Estate Tax and Investment Manager | Lake County

In this position, you will track investments for Lake County funds in accordance with the Treasurer's investment policy and the Illinois Public Funds Investment Act. The person in this role will be responsible for tracking the county's various bank accounts and ensuring that funds are available for disbursement, when needed, while estimating cash deposits and required disbursements to ensure sufficient funds; tracking collateral; supervising all property tax refunds; journaling receipts, and researching property tax payment issues. This role will supervise up to four direct reports.
Salary: $88,526.60 Annually
Knowledge Skills Abilities and Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Ten years of experience with financial accounting and government Finance
- Working knowledge of auditing procedures for internal control
- Experience using Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), tax collection system, specifically iasWorld and investment tracking software (Sympro), preferred.
