Description
GFOA’s federal advocacy efforts in Washington include interpreting federal legislation and applying it at the local level. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, GFOA’s efforts in Washington, D.C., have included advocacy to federal legislators to draft and pass the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and other infrastructure efforts as well as to members of the administration in their implementation efforts. Join this session to listen and discuss how the federal efforts have impacted local communities and to prepare for what’s ahead.
