The Illinois Police Officers' Pension Investment Fund (IPOPIF)

The Illinois Police Officers' Pension Investment Fund (IPOPIF) is responsible for the consolidation and fiduciary management of the pension assets of 300 suburban and downstate police pension funds. It was created by PA 101-610 which was signed into law by Governor Pritzker on December 9, 2019 and became effective on January 1, 2020.  The statute, PA 101-610, also provides guidance and direction regarding notification by the IPOPIF of the transference of assets, preparation of a certified list of assets, and the timeframe for the ultimate transfer.

IGFOA is committed to providing its members with reliable and transparent communication, along with valuable content to ensure that IPOPIF’s messages are broadly distributed. For more information about IPOPIF, email ilpopif@gmail.com
