DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR) holds information
 al workshops to discuss items related to the allocation and distribution o
 f taxes to local governments\, including updates on changes that have happ
 ened as well as some exciting news for the future.  Some of the topics tha
 t will be covered include:  Annexations\, Business District Taxes\, new Re
 bate Sharing Agreement reporting\, taxpayer listings\, MyLocalTax\, and ne
 w legislation that impacts local governments. \nThe State of Illinois and 
 IDOR are taking measures to prevent exposure to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). As
  a result\, most Local Tax Allocation Division (LTAD) workshops have been 
 cancelled due to State employee travel restrictions. LTAD will still host 
 an online WebEx workshop on June 16\, 2020 from 9:00 am until Noon. This t
 raining will be recorded an posted to the IDOR website for viewing at any 
 time. IDOR will also still host the workshop in Springfield on June 23\, 2
 020\, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.\nPlease contact the LTAD at REV.LocalTax@ill
 inois.gov to register for the WebEx or Springfield workshop\, or with any 
 questions about workshops or other localgovernment issues. Please remeber 
 that LTAD is currently working remotely\, so email is the only contact met
 hod at this time. \nSeating is limited in Springfield on June 23\, 2020\; 
 therefore\, it is preferred that you pre-register with our office at least
  three business days before the workshop. However\, we will welcome walk-i
 n registrations. There are no fees associated with the workshops and no li
 mit on the number of people from each local government who may attend. \nT
