 ating People Fairly\, with Reliability and Consistency.\nGFOA’s Code of Et
 hics focuses on public trust and how finance officers can act to both main
 tain and grow trust and confront challenges. It recognizes that people are
  imperfect and subject to biases that can challenge ethical behavior. None
 theless\, members in government finance positions must earn and maintain p
 ublic trust.\n“Ethics in Action” is a three-part series based on the GFOA 
 Code of Ethics that asks government finance officers to deal with these ch
 allenges within the values defined in the Code in order to serve their ent
 ities to the best of their ability.\nIn Part 2 of the series\, participant
 s will explore the importance of finance officers Treating People Fairly\,
  with Reliability and Consistency and surviving and thriving in a politica
 l environment\, through a combination of facilitated discussion\, examples
