DESCRIPTION:\nRegion 1 Planning Council (R1) is a regional planning council
  providing government-to-government support services to Northern Illinois 
 local governments. These services include regional  transportation\, land 
 use\, sustainability and economic development planning\; data analytics\; 
 and GIS mapping. R1 also operates the second-largest land bank in Illinois
  and provides extensive grant writing services. This seminar will provide 
 an overview of R1’s array of local government support services\, with an e
 mphasis on strategies for successful grant writing. R1 staff will explain 
 how to identify grants that fit your agency’s mission and organizational c
 apacity\, and strategies to ensure a winning application and fulfill grant
