DESCRIPTION:This session provides a working overview of Illinois Records Ma
 nagement requirements for local government agencies including applicable s
 tatutes and mandated processes for maintaining\, disposing\, digitizing an
 d ensuring security of agency records.  There will be a Q&A segment with a
 n open forum for attendees to ask questions related to the session materia
 ls and/or inquire on agency specific issues. A workshop segment will offer
  attendees the opportunity to complete a Records Disposal Certificate with

 rincipal\, Lauterbach & Amen\, LLP\nSpeaker Bio: ‎Ms. Flores has been a pa
 rt of the Lauterbach & Amen team since 2019. She assists numerous downstat
 e ‎Pension Funds through her role as a Pension Services Administrator and 
 with her expertise in Local ‎Records Management.‎Ms. Flores has developed 
 a unique records management program offered by Lauterbach and Amen\, LLP ‎
 and has dedicated countless hours putting the Illinois Local Records Manag
 ement processes into ‎practice for Police and Fire Pension Boards\, Fire P
 rotection Districts and other Local Boards across the ‎state.‎By streamlin
 ing the Records Identification and Disposal (Records ID) service\, she has
  been able to assist ‎her clients with the management\, retention and disp
 osal of their local records in a lawful manner which ‎adheres to the Illin
 ois Local Records Act.‎\nLearning Objectives:Participants completing this
