 ience the workplace as a negative place – where authoritarianism may reign
 \, where leaders are uncertain or indifferent\, and where employee engagem
 ent remains at historic lows. In this brief seminar\, Peter Burchard will 
 present his view of workplace dysfunction and the role of self-coaching an
 d self-mastery in building better experiences and outcomes. Learning Objec

  10:30 AMGASB REEXAMINES THE FINANCIAL REPORTING MODEL - GOVERNMENTAL FUND
 SSpeaker: Krisztina Dommer\, Manager\, Sikich LLPDescription: The current 
 financial reporting model used by state and local governments is contained
  in GASB Statement No. 34\, generally became effective in 2002 for most go
 vernments. This model did not substantially change the accounting and fina
 ncial reporting for governmental funds\, most notably the general fund. GA
 SB has now added a project to its agenda to examine reporting for governme
 ntal funds and what information should be conveyed in external financial s
 tatements.  An Invitation to Comment (ITC) was issued by GASB in December 
 2016 that considers three alternatives to reporting governmental funds. Le
