The City of Pekin is seeking an experienced accountant, preferably with municipal/governmental accounting experience, to serve as the primary accountant to manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable, utility billing and business tax operations with four direct reports. The Assistant Finance Director is in charge of daily transaction confirmations, purchase order management, and daily and monthly general ledger reconciliation with an annual budget of $65M . The Asst. Finance Director reports directly to the Treasurer/Finance Director

Position has a salary range of $64,946 to $76,408 DOQ, with a residency requirement within 10 mile radius of corporate City limits within one year after probationary period.
