Internal Auditor | Moraine Valley Community College

The Internal Auditor is responsible for the independent appraisal of the accounting, financial, and other operations as a basis for determining the adequacy of the system of internal control and ascertaining compliance with established policies and procedures of the college. The Internal Auditor of the college exercises the necessary authority delegated by the President for the financial and operational auditing of all areas of the institution.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or must have the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam with 150 credits hours from an accredited university or college, and a minimum 4 years of recent work experience as an auditor at a public accounting firm, demonstrating a progression in complexity of auditing and accounting tasks.  Expereince with governmental or school district clients preferred.

Salary: $88,315; Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am to 5:15 pm.
