Event Description

The passage of HB453 requires that certain entities track data and report spend for minority vendors and subcontractors. Join panelists Carrie Hagerty, City of Rockford’s Finance Director, Adonis Fuller, City of Champaign’s Purchasing/Compliance Specialist, and Kent Floros, Partner at Chapman and Cutler LLP to learn about this legislation, the vendor certification process, ways to collect and report the data, and strategies used by certain communities to promote and implement DEI initiatives.
