Event Description
Presentation and Networking with your colleagues over lunch.
Guest Speaker Greg Kuhn, PhD, NIU Center for Governmental Studies will present “A Leadership Appetizer-Differences Between Organizational Leader and Manager Roles”
Leadership is a much studied field in both the public and private sectors. Many attributes cross both industries as well as varying types and sizes of organizations. The short presentation will serve as an “appetizer” for this broad field of study by examining: 1) what are some of the key attributes commonly seen in leaders, and 2) what are the differences and overlaps in the roles leaders and managers play in organizational performance?
Presented by the Downstate chapter
