Event Description

In cooperation with the Illinois Municipal League and the Illinois CPA Society, the Illinois Comptroller's Office welcomes you to the 2016 local government financial reporting training series.

As public officials, we have a tremendous responsibility to ensure that tax dollars are spent wisely, and that we provide transparency through the reporting process. No matter your level of experience, you will leave these workshops with a better understanding of your role in the annual financial reporting process, how to use your annual audit reports to implement sound fiscal policies, and how we can work together to be accountable to the constituents we serve.

Workshops are located throughout the state, and we hope that you will take advantage of this free training. Space is limited, so please register today.
