Quad Cities Finance Lunch Crunch

Join your IGFOA colleagues at the Quad Cities Quarterly Lunch and learn about the reporting requirements  and implementation of GASB Statement No. 74, Financial Reporting for Postemployment Benefit Plans Other Than Pensions and GASB Statement No. 75, Accounting and Financial Reporting for Postemployment Benefits Other Than Pension. The session will also discuss the impacts of the new standards on a government's financial statements, including that of separately issued postemployment benefit plan's financial statements. 


Learning Objectives - Participants completing this session will be able to: 
1. Understand the reporting requirements of GASB Statement Nos. 74 and 75;
2. Learn how to implement GASB Statement Nos. 74 and 75 by using a real-life example; and,
3. Understand the actuarial changes and external audit implications of GASB Statement Nos. 74 and 75.

Registration & Cancellation Policy

Registrations are accepted on a first-in, first registered basis. Payments by check should be mailed in advance or made at time of registration by credit card. Payments will not be accepted the day of the event.

IGFOA Members are those Public Sector and Associate individuals specifically listed in the IGFOA Membership Application or Renewal. IGFOA Government non-member rate applies to staff, appointed officials, and elected officials of a government with a current IGFOA membership.  The IGFOA reserves the right to apply the non-member fee to any individual or government that has not paid dues for the current year.  If you have questions about your membership, contact IGFOA at 630-942-6587.

If you are unable to attend, please contact IGFOA at 630-942-6587 or info@igfoa.org as soon as possible.  A $20 cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations up to March 24, 2017. Cancellations after March 24, 2017 and no-shows are responsible for the full fee.

IGFOA reserves the right to modify the agenda, cancel the event due to low enrollment, or to close registration if full. Should IGFOA Downstate Chapter cancel an event, cancellation notice will be sent to the email address provided by each registrant and prominently posted at the IGFOA website page announcing the event.
