Finance Director/Treasurer | City of Wood River

This position is responsible for all financial operations and services of the City including/but not limited to: budgeting, long-term financial planning, purchasing, accounts payable, payroll, accounting, financial reporting, debt management and treasury functions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Municipal or Government finance preferred.
  • Degree from a four-year college or university with major course work in accounting, finance, business, or related field
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Thorough experience in finance administration including a minimum of four years of senior level supervisory experience

Residency, within 15 miles of City limits & inside Madison County, is required within one year of date of hire.  Base salary $91,550.   Excellent benefit package including paid health, dental, life insurance, vacation & sick leave, defined benefit retirement plan as well as education and longevity incentives.
