Accountant | Central Illinois Regional Airport Authority

The Central Illinois Regional Airport Authority is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accountant.

Under the supervision of the Deputy Director Finance, this role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations of the Authority.

Key responsibilities include:

•  Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• General Ledger Maintenance
• Payroll Processing

 Minimum Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.  
• Ability to pass TSA background check and qualify for airport security identification badge.
• Must be able to use a PC and other technical devices and applications as appropriate.
• Knowledge of governmental accounting and fund accounting
• Considerable knowledge of BS&A or similar accounting software.
• Must be able to multi-task and effectively work with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to use formulas in Excel and identify and adjust formulas for errors.

 This is a full-time, in person position offering a salary range of $53,368.00 - $64,300.00 DOQ, with a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off/holidays, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, along with participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund.
