The successful candidate will be responsible fora staff of 4 full-time employees in the finance and administration department. They will be repsonsible for monthly closings, bank reconciliations, review of payroll, utility billing, cash receipts and receivables and review of payables. Direct the preparation of all required analysis, documentation and disclosures supporting the AFR. Maintain financial accounting system. Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget with the assistance of the Village Manager. Prepare the annual tax levy with the assistance of the Village Manager. Monitor spending of all departments and produce periodic reports and analysis.

This position reports directly to the Village Manager and applicant must have the ability to work independently, exercising good judgement and initiative. This position is classified as full-time, exempt position.
