Accounting Manager | Village of Wheeling

The Village of Wheeling Finance Department seeks applicants for the position of Accounting Manager. This position performs both professional and supervisory functions; requires considerable knowledge and ability in assisting the Director of Finance and the Deputy Director of Finance in accounting matters. Performs technical and administrative accounting work in order to maintain the fiscal records and system of the Village.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, preferably with a minimum of three (3) years of municipal accounting experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position deemed sufficient by the Village Manager may be accepted. Starting salary of $76,695, with a range of $76,695 - $106,513.
