Accounting Manager | Village of Lemont

The Village of Lemont is recruiting for an experienced and collaborative Accounting Manager to join our Finance team! 

The succesful candidate should have: 

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, finance or closely related field. 

Master's degree and/or CPA designation preferred. 

Previous supervisory experience is strongly desired. 

A minimum of five (5) years of professional finance experience, preferably in local government. 

Solid understanding of adminstering finance department activities including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation and implemntation of new financial policies and procedures. 

Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare a vareity of reports and correspondence. 

Salary for this position:  $85K +/- DOQ
