Accounting Manager | Gurnee Park District

DESCRIPTION

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Business Services, the Accounting Manager oversees the finance function of the Business Services Department and is responsible for oversight of the Park District’s short-term and long-term plans through the use of data management and other tools that enhance the agency’s ability to perform at a high level of efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field. A minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible finance experience and some supervisory experience is required. Experience working with people in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office applications required. Previous experience and working knowledge of various database software is preferred.

STARTING SALARY: $60,000 - $70,000 DOQ
