Director of Finance and Human Resources | Channahon Park District

The Channahon Park District is an Illinois Distinguished Accredited Agency that serves more than 16,000 people in and around Channahon. The District operates and manages more than 500 acres of land, an 18-hole golf course, an outdoor aquatic center, a multi-purpose recreation center, fitness center, indoor track, and gymnasium.

 Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Finance and Human Resources is responsible for the overall administration and management of finance and accounting, human resources, and information technology systems management. The successful candidate will have a strong finance background and will supervise two part-time accounting clerks and the Information Technology Manager. Qualifications:
BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field preferred. Demonstrated accounting, finance, human resource, mathematical, and clerical skills. Minimum of five years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounting, human resources and/or business operations. Knowledge of and proficiency in computer hardware and software systems. Possession of valid State of Illinois driver’s license.
